So, we are asking what specifications these particular boards require. So your AE comp would be even smaller than 1920x1080 even though the signs are massive. For example, many of the signs in Times Square (which are huge) don't even display full HD content. ![]() There are many display boards that are huge, but take content that's even smaller. I don't know what sort of codec or file type it needs because I haven't done work for them, but it would matter too. So, it's huge, but your comp in AE would be a normal, full HD 1920x1080. That's the highest resolution it can display. Which means that if you want to move an object from one side of the screen to the other side, youll have to do it frame by frame in a move of 2 pixels by frame, rather then positioning it in one place, make a keyframe, and then go to where the movement should end and place another keyframe. What matters is the resolution useable by the board.įor example, the giant screen at the Dallas Cowboy's stadium is 160 feet (49 meters) wide and 72 feet (22 meters) tall, but it still just displays 1920x1080 content. The physical size is entirely irrelevant to working in After Effects. ![]()
